Now that the Sydney Running Festival and other events are completed the Tuesday “Speed & Strength” sessions will change to have more of a Hills focus – perfect for those training for the NRG Summer Trails series and associated upcoming trail races. Or for anyone who wants to build their hill running capabilities. The group meets on Tuesday evenings at 6:30pm at the Indoor Sports Centre, or if running late the parallel bar set at Gore Hill Oval (in front of the Hospital). All welcome regardless of ability – come along and enjoy the fun!

Enjoy a faster road run and week off the technical bushtracks, as well as your fellow NRGers as this run will start along with the regular Saturday club run. Follow the classic "seven bridges" course clockwise. Weather forecast is for clean cool air :)
There‘s no NRG drink stop but several taps along the way, identified on the map. No remote areas.

It‘s back! This time without the flooding and leeches. Arrive early (very convenient to train 6:13 from St Leonards arrives 6:22) for a prompt 6:30 departure. You can exit the run after the drink stop 17K at Thornleigh Station, or go up a ‘slight rise‘ at the end to Hornsby Station for 27K. Need more distance? Easy...run up Pacific Highway from Crows Nest and make it 34K.
This run gets quite remote in National Park and Great North Walk terrain. Please bring a mobile phone, cash, Opal card and certainly, hydration!
Your host will be Victoria Watson.
